The Rolex Sea Dweller is one of the most iconic sport Rolex watches and a staple of any serious Rolex collector. Rolex developed and introduced the Sea Dweller model as a tool watch for those working in saturation diving at deeper underwater environments - up to 2000 feet or 610 meters below the surface - compared to the Submariner that was rated to 660 feet or 200 meters. These Sea-Dweller models featured a patented valve in the case of the watch to allow helium and other gases to escape during decompression.
Announced at Basel World 2017 the Rolex "Red Sea" Sea-Dweller was launched for the 50th Anniversary of the Sea-Dweller. This timepiece features a 43mm stainless steel case, with stainless steel bracelet. It has a black dial with "Sea-Dweller" labeled in red.
This watch has majority of the factory warranty remaining.
